If you could invite anyone to dinner, dead or alive, who would you invite? My list of loved ones is long, too long, but my one celebrity or well known person would be Queen Elizabeth II. This woman kept me in amazement my entire life. I saw an Aura around her that I witnessed briefly as she wandered down the Todd Mall in Alice Springs. Her capacity to be the most famous person in the world as well as her dedication to her royal duties left me in awe. Add to that the normal life things of being a wife, mother, sister, grandmother and so much more to so many people - the UK & Commonwealth alone. What a heavy burden that must have had on her. I'd love to ask how she did it. From dealing with family to politicians to small children, to the ethical dilemma of dealing with people you wouldn't normally associate with but she had to. Such pose & grace. So deeply missed on this her first anniversary. "Grief is the price we pay for love."
