I'm real not perfect! It's one of my favourite Liptember quotes & I use it throughout the year. Lipstick can be like a best friend. Sometimes you get along really well & other times no matter how hard you try, you just don't bond anymore. It's reflective of your mental health battles. Some days you put on a red lip & can conquer the world & other days you feel anxious to leave the house. So just like any good lipstick, we take it one day at a time, one application at a time. Some applications are perfect & some days are bad. We learn to look for the signs to manage it better & most of all we learn to be kinder to ourselves. Self-care isn't just on Sundays, it needs to be in every single day!
